How do I scan a REVEALiO card?
Tap the “SCAN A REVEALiO” button on the home screen. Once you are in scan mode, simply scan the QR code in the lower left corner of the card, and then fit the entire card within the frame of the mobile app screen. Watch the card come alive!
How do I create a REVEALiO card in the mobile app?
Tap the “CREATE A REVEALiO” button on the home screen and follow the steps presented to you to create a REVEALiO greeting card using pre-designed templates.
Custom marketing orders are created via the website https://revealio.com, or by contacting the Customer Care Department at 415-870-7894.
How do I upload videos?
Once you have selected a template, and approved the artwork, you will be prompted to add a video. From that screen you will either select to capture live video, or upload a video from your mobile device’s gallery. Horizontal videos work best with REVEALiO cards.
What types of video files does the app support?
The REVEALiO app supports most of the commonly used video formats like .mp4 and .mov. If the app does not recognize your video file, then it is not supported. (Videos captured with iOS devices contain a codec that the REVEALiO card creator may not accept.)
What size video can I upload?
The size of video will vary depending upon quality of the camera capturing the video. For optimal performance, videos should be horizontal and less than 15 seconds in length.
How many videos can be connected to a card at one time?
Only one video can be associated to any one REVEALiO at a time. (In the near future, we will offer users the ability to switch out the video connected to a REVEALiO as often as they like. This will keep the cards fresh and exciting.)
How do I customize the text on the card?
You can customize the text on the front and the back of the card. Simply tap on the screen where it states “Edit Text” and enter the desired text. The font and colors of that text are pre-determined for that specific template. (Users must enter their own text on the front of card. The DEMO text that appears on the template is for demonstration purposes only, and will not print on the card.)
Can I send the card electronically?
REVEALiO cards are a unique combination of real-world print, with virtual-world content. We pride ourselves on quality of image and user experience. We do not offer e-cards, as that does not provide the enriched user experience that we pride ourselves with.
Do I have to buy the printed cards?
Yes, you must purchase printed cards, otherwise they won’t come alive when you scan them.
How much do the cards cost?
Card prices vary depending upon quantity ordered. Our cards are priced competitively.
How do I know the cards are going to the right addresses?
The cards will be delivered to the address you enter at the time of ordering. Only one delivery address per order. If you are sending a single card you can enter that recipients name and address in the delivery screen. If you are ordering a quantity of cards, they will be delivered as a package with blank envelopes. They will then need to be addressed and mailed individually to the intended recipients. Allow up to 10 business days for cards to be delivered USPS.
Who can see my cards and videos?
Anyone using the REVEALiO mobile app can scan your card and see the video attached to it.
Will end users be able to share my REVEALiO card with others?
There are two ways users can share REVEALiO cards.
- They show someone else the physical card.
- They share the card via Social Media.
How do I protect against unauthorized sharing of my REVEALiO?
You can control the end user’s ability to share via Social Media by NOT selecting the Social Media options in the “Interactive Button” portion of the creation process.
*We highly recommend that you do not attach video content to your REVEALiO card that can become problematic in the hands of others.
Are there parental controls?
How do I get the app to let me login?
You can login from the dropdown menu on the homepage. You must login with the correct username and password. If you cannot remember either of these, you can tap on the “forgot username/password” link on the login page, and be given options from there. If that does not help the login issue, then try reinstalling the app.
How do I get rid of false charges on my account?
Contact us via the dropdown menu or email email@example.com, and we will work with you to resolve your issue.
Why was my video flagged?
If your video has been flagged, it likely does not comply with our terms of service agreement. Contact us via the dropdown menu or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
